Online
You can access Don's internet profiles and online activities through the following web sites.
Google +
This newest online social networking tool looks like a winner (after at least three previous failures by Google). You can check out Don's G+ stream from his Posts page and add him to one of your circles from his About page
Don follows over 500 other GIS and planning professionals on Twitter, and posts to his account daily. Twitter is a unique place on the internet, sometimes refered to as the online watercooler. It provides a very relaxed, informal atmosphere where people can discuss anything, from the latest beta release of thier favorite Open Source GIS application, to what they had for breakfast.
LinkedIn is a great place to post resume type information and status reports. Don usually updates his status once a week, and belongs to a number of GIS and planning related groups.
Blog
Don posts to his WordPress blog about once a month. Topics range from technical aspects of planning and GIS, to more personal thoughts about current events. They will always have a geospatial element to them.
Don uses Facebook mostly for family and close friends, but also for a few business associates, too. Feel free to send a friend request if facebook is your social network of choice.
